Type A is the standard type of Bulk Bag (FIBC). Type A Bulk Bags are made from plain polypropylene or other non-conductive materials. It is the most commonly used FIBC. Type A bags do not dissipate static electricity. They must therefore be stored in an environment free of flammable solvents or gases. Over 95% fo the bags used in the industries are Type A bags. In common use, bulk bags that are not labelled as Type B, Type C or Type D, can be assumed to be Type A. Safe use:
